It gives me immense pleasure to learn that the Galo community in Itanagar is celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of the Mopin Festival, marking a remarkable milestone in the preservation and promotion of our rich cultural heritage.

Mopin, one of the most vibrant and significant festivals of Arunachal Pradesh, symbolizes prosperity, harmony, and the collective spirit of the people. The festival not only reflects the deep-rooted traditions and values of the Galo community but also serves as a reminder of our shared responsibility to preserve and pass on this invaluable legacy to future generations.

I am glad to know that a souvenir titled "Ai-Agam" is being published to commemorate this historic occasion. Such initiatives play a vital role in documenting our folklore, traditions, and cultural narratives, thereby strengthening our identity and fostering a sense of pride among the younger generation.
